A fiber disc is a type of abrasive disc that is commonly used for grinding, sanding, and finishing metal, wood, and other materials. It consists of a flat circular disc made from reinforced fiber, which is coated with abrasive grains, such as aluminum oxide or zirconia alumina. Fiber discs are available in a range of sizes, grits, and densities, and they are designed for use with angle grinders, die grinders, or other power tools. They can be used for a variety of applications, such as removing rust and paint from metal surfaces, smoothing and shaping wood, and preparing surfaces for painting or coating.
